Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Manuel “Mar” Roxas brushed off criticisms on Thursday that surrendered fugitive Janet Lim Napoles was getting “special treatment,” even as she would be incarcerated in an airconditioned cell at the Makati City jail.
According to Sec. Roxas, Janet Naples prison room, is an office converted into a cell, has a bed, an old white sofa and a desk. The DILG Secretary added further that there will be two female guards who will be watching her closely inside the detention cell, she is also barred from using mobile phones.
The visiting hours for the controversial Janet Lim Napoles will be just the same as other inmates, for weekdays, 1:00 to 5:00 PM and 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM during weekend.

Janet Lim Napoles have gone into hiding for 14 days following a court order for her arrest, she surrendered to Pres. Aquino on Wednesday night after the President offered P10 million reward for information leading to her arrest.
