NU Defeated UST 75-61 Stays Undefeated in the Second Round

The Natjonal University Bulldogs is still undefeated in the second round of the UAAP Season 76 elimination round after they they defeated the UST Growling Tigers with the final score at 75-61 extending their winning run to four straight games.

The Bulldogs climbed on team standing with a 7-3 win-loss card second only to FEU’s 7-2 record. The Bulldogs got a huge lift from its bench during their game against UST on Saturday with backup guard Robin Rono leading the way with 19 points, including 12 points in the fourth quarter.

NU’s Dennice Villamor added with 18 points while former UAAP MVP Ray Parks scored with 10 points tied with Gelo Alolino who also scored 10 markers. The UST Growling Tigers was led by Karim Abdull who scored with 18 points and 12 rebounds while returning Jeric Teng scored with just 2 points. With UST’s defeat they are now down to 4-5 in team standing.
