GlobalPort Defeated Air21 101-94 as Markeith Cummings Debuted Topscorer

GlobalPort Batang Pier defeated the Air21 Express with the final score at 101-94 and the import of GlobalPort showcased his worth as he scored with 37 points and grabbed 11 rebounds on his PBA debut during the opening of the PBA Governor’s Cup 2013 at the Mall of Asia Arena.

The victory of GlobalPort is their first win since losing their last 11 games in the Commissioner’s Cup becoming winless since February 15, 2013. During the Governor’s Cup opening day, GlobalPort took control of the game in the first half as they opened up with a 47-30 lead in the second quarter.
