International singer Lea Salonga decided to retain RJ de la Fuente over Juvie Pelos and Rainier Acosta during the battle rounds of The Voice of the Philippines on Sunday’s episode of the show.
The three-way battle features RJ de la Fuentea, Kundiman Singer Juvie Pelos and Rainier Acosta from Bulacan who gave their own rendition of the Motown cl(–foul word(s) removed–)ic “What’s Going On” by Marvin Gaye.
Both rocker Bamboo Manalac and Black Eyed Peas’ apl.de.ap thought Pelos won the battles. Guest coach Gerard Salonga picked dela Fuente for “staying true to the music,” noting that the song like the Marvin Gaye cl(–foul word(s) removed–)ic should not be overpowered.
