The FIBA Asia Championship took a one day break on Sunday, August 4, 2013 after an intense preliminary round that features 15 of the most popular teams in the Asia regions.
In the Second Round of the FIBA Asia Championship, the top three teams in Group A, B, C, and D will formed the new groupings the Group E and Group F. The Group E is composed of Qatar, Chinese Taipei, Japan, Philippines, Jordan and Hong Kong. The Group F comprised Iran, Kazakhstan, South Korea, Bahrain, and China.
