The Thailand Men’s national basketball team revealed their official line-up for the FIBA Asia Championship as the Thailander secured a ticket to Asia’s most popular basketball competition.
Thailand secured a ticket to Manila after topping the SEABA tournament. The team is bracketed with India, Kazakhstan and Bahrain in Group D. The team had a huge chance of making it to the second round of the competition.
One of the most prominent player for the Thailand national squad is Wutipong Dasom, a member of the Thailand Slammers in the ABL Season 4. The 22-year-old Thailand hotshot was instrumental in Thailand’s conquest of the 2013 SEABA Championship.
Thailand also features identical twins, Darongpan and Darunpong Apiromvilaichai who played at the same position, having the same height but the most accomplished of the two is Darongpan. (pic. below Daronpan L Darunpong R)
