The Jordan national basketball team have already released their official and final roster or line-up in the 27th FIBA Asia Championship hosted by the Philippines. The Jordanian squad is the former silver medalist of the 26th FIBA Asia Championship held in Wuhan last 2011.
Team Jordan can boasts of their regular offensive weapon headed by Wesam Al-Sous despite the absence of regular players such as Sam Daghles and Rasheim Wright, the team is still considered as a top contender in Manila. The team surprised Iran during the last edition of the game as they defeated the powerhouse team during the quarterfinals.
Jordan is bracketed in Group A of the Prelim Round competition in the 27th FIBA Asia Championship alongside, host Philippines, Chinese Taipei and Saudi Arabia. The team will meet East-Asian contender Chinese Taipei for their first encounter in Manila.
