#walangpasok • QUEZON CITY has suspended JULY 22 (MONDAY) classes in public & private schools, from elementary to HS. #SONA2013 via @pcdspo
— DepEd (@DepEd_PH) July 18, 2013
The announcement was made through the official Twitter account of the Department of Education, the reason of the suspension of classes in Quezon City is due to an anticipated build-up of traffic in major roads especially along the Commonwealth Highway.
Last July 18, 2013, the Quezon City Government have already made the announcement that the classes in private and public elementary schools in the entire Quezon City will be suspended on Monday. The local government of Quezon City adds further that the CHED will decide for the universities in the areas of Quezon City for their class suspension.
The QC Government usually declared a class suspension in Quezon City during the past few SONA’s of the President to prevent incidents that will involved the students and as a matter of safety measures for the local students of Quezon City.
