Based upon the release circulated by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, the Beatles star “respectfully urges” Aquino to swiftly act on the elephant’s transfer to a Thailand sanctuary where it can “take her first steps in freedom.”

According to the letter made by Paul McCartney, he was quoted as saying that, “The Video footage of Mali is heartbreaking,” McCartney’s letter read. “You only have to “You only have to have a heart to see what so many experts have already pointed out: that the way she continuously favors one leg is a sign of constant pain.” McCartney’s letter read.

The call for the release of Mali have already captured the international media with some Hollywood celebrities calling for the release of the elephant. Earlier this year, former model, Pamela Anderson invited Aquino to date, so that they can talk about Mali.
