Kobe Bryant, one of the most recognized NBA basketball star will return to the Philippines this coming August 12 as part of his promotional tour for Lenovo Mobile. The arrival of Kobe to the Philippines was confirmed by Lenovo Mobie Philippines Facebook Page.
The Chinese technology giant company Lenovo hired Kobe Bryant as one of their product endorsers. The NBA superstar, Kobe Bryant is currently recovering from a torn Achilles tendon injury.
The 34-year-old basketball superstar visited the Philippines last 2011 and played a pair of exhibition games dubbed as the SMART Ultimate All-Star Weekend alongside other NBA players during the league’s lockout.

“Kobe Bryant is coming back to Manila! Mark this date, August 12, 2013! Watch this space for more updates,” the page said.
To entice the smartphone users in the Philippines to use the Lenovo Mobile, the company recorded a video titled “Walang Iwanan” which specifically targeted at Filipino users.
The highly-anticipated visit of Kobe Bryant in the Philippines is considered as a banner year for the NBA in the Philippines, aside from Bryant, Lebron James will visit the country. The NBA Pre-Season game between the Pacers and the Rockets will be held in the Manila as well.
