Darren Espanto is now a certified recording artist after his success as a finalist on the reality show, “The Next Star,” the Filipino-Canadian was recently released on iTunes and his music video can now be seen on YTV.com. Espanto’s first single is a Jackson 5 cover, “Shake Your Body (Down to the Ground).”
Although Espanto failed to win the competition he was given a chance to record his first album, he did not expect that he could be a recording artist. According to the Fil-Canadian singer, all of the songs in the album were recorded in just one day, and they’re all cover singles.
The talented young boy’s journey to stardom is an inspiring and amazing ride whose been singing and performing since he was just 2 years old. According to him it is a dream come true for him as an artist. Darren’s parent was so proud of his achievement as an artist and was very thankful for the many blessings coming his way.
The father of Darren Espanto, Lyndon Espanto didn’t expect that he could go this far, recording his first album despite the fact that he did not win the competition when he entered the reality show, “The Next Star.” The family hopes kababayans all over the world support their son’s music career.
