One of the world’s most popular rock band, the American group Matchbox Twenty will be holding their concert in Manila this coming November 8, 2013 as part of their summer tour to be held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. The announcement was made through the official website of Matchbox Twenty.
The Matchbox Twenty band led by Rob Thomas also announced their upcoming Philippine tour through their official Facebook account. The details about ticket prices have yet to be announced by their Philippine promoter. The Manila stop of Matchbox Twenty will be their second Asian stop after Hong Kong on November 4.
The US rock band will then proceed to Singapore for their third stop in Asia this coming November 10, and they will return to the United States in December for another series of shows.
Matchbox Twenty became famous worldwide for its album titled “Yourself or Someone Like You” in 1996, which includes the hits “Push” and “3 a.m.,” among others. The band’s most popular songs includes “Bent,” “If You’re Gone,” and “Unwell.”
The band were composed of band leader Rob Thomas (lead vocals, piano), Paul Doucette (drums, rhythm guitar, backing vocals), Kyle Cook (lead guitar, backing vocals), Brian Yale (b(–foul word(s) removed–) guitar), touring drummer Stacy Jones (drums) and touring utility musician, Matt Beck.
