The Philippines leading news media organization, ABS-CBN is set to release their latest station ID in celebration of 60 years of Philippine television. The new station ID featured a song performed by singer-actress Zsa Zsa Padilla and daughter Zia Quizon.
The station ID song titled “Kwento Natin Ito” was composed and produced by Ferdinand Dimadura, as part the Kapamilya Network’s year-long celebration. The lyrics of “Kwento Natin Ito” was made through the effort of Robert Labayen.
The songwriter Robert Labayen have already wrote a number of previous ABS-CBN station ID songs including last year’s “Kwento ng Pasko,” he was once again tapped to write the lyrics of this year’s theme, “Kwento Natin Ito.”
Veteran performer Maestro Gerard Salonga orchestrated and conducted the music, which was performed by the ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra. In line with its 60th anniversary, ABS-CBN earlier released a summer-themed station ID in April, with the theme song “Kwento ng Summer Natin.”
