NU Defeated UST Scored 71-69 Highlights (July 10)

The National University (NU) Bulldogs made a remarkable comeback in the final period and secured a win over the UST Growling Tigers with the final score at 71-67. The game was held at the Araneta Coliseum.

 

The Bulldogs made an enormous comeback in the fourth quarter after they took advantage of the absence of Jeric Teng, UST’s star player who bailed out in the second quarter due to an injured shoulder.

Still UST threatened to take over the game when Kevin Ferrer connected from three-point country to bring the Tigers within three, 67-70, 0.8 seconds remaining in the game.

The Bulldogs, however, managed to hold on the lead as they pegged the final scores on the free throw line. With the UST’s first defeat, they are currently showing a 2-1 card which is tied with NU, Adamson and DLSU.
