The President of the Republic of the Philippines, Pres. Benigno Simeon Aquino III, announced on Thursday, June 20, that he already signed an order disbursing P10,000 anniversary bonus for DPWH officials and employees.
The announcement was made by the President during the department’s 115th anniversary, to the delight of employees who were attending the ceremony in Manila.
The President also praised DPWH Secretary Rogelio Singson for instituting reforms in the department, which led to a total of P16.35 billion in savings for the national government.
