The newest series from GMA Network titled, “My Husband’s Lover” featuring Carla Abellana, Dennis Trillo and their newest Kapuso member, Tom Rodriguez became a huge success on its first episode.
The series is dubbed by the Kapuso Network as their bravest TV series, it is not the usual boy-meets-girl soap. The primetime series tackle the topic of homosexual/bisexual relationship.
The series tells about the a different love triangle, the wife (Carla Abellana) fights for her husband (Tom Rodriguez) against his gay lover (Dennis Trillo). The series is directed by Dominic Zapata.
The Kapuso series, “My Husband’s Lover” stirred strong reactions from Filipino netizens, most of them in a positive way. The series even conquered the trending Twitter topics in the Philippines.
The gay-themed teleserye has an approved rating SPG (Striktong Patnubay at Gabay), the series will air on late primetime block at 9:30 P.M.
