The Philippines’ leading television network have already gave a hint on who will be the next Darna. The highly-anticipated remake of the Philippines most popular lady superhero, Darna, is one of the major projects of ABS-CBN this year.
Last Sunday, on ASAP 18, ABS-CBN gave a hint on who should become the next “Darna” with the introduction of five of its stars wearing the “Darna” costume. Kim Chiu, Shaina Magdayao, Empress Schuck, Iya Villania and Cristine Reyes performed with their best moves as they portrayed the dancing “Darna.”
The famous Pinay superhero “Darna” performed during the ASAP’s “Supah Dance,” their performance made the speculations that one of them might be playing the lead role in the upcoming series.
Aside from the five lovely ladies, there are speculations also that Angel Locsin will play the lead role aside from the possibility of Marian Rivera’s transfer to the Kapamilya Channel which put her as one of the contender to play the role of Darna.
