Kimverlyn Suiza from Nagcarlan, Laguna is considered by many pageant experts as one of the most beautiful candidates in the 2013 edition of Miss Philippines Earth.
The 24-year-old segment producer described her growing up years in a simple, supportive and loving family. She considered herself as a “late bloomer.” She never aimed to be always on top because she know that being a good person is better than always being the best.
Kimverlyn grew up as the eldest daughter and she (–foul word(s) removed–)umed the responsibility of helping her family and she accepts the fact that life is a challenge. According to Miss Earth Nagcarlan, her most memorable moment was during the year 2006, when she was diagnosed with a dengue fever and she was already in a critical condition but she survived the life-threatening part of her life.
The main reasons why Kimverlyn joined the Miss Philippines Earth 2013 is more than being a beauty queen. She believe that Miss Philippines Earth is the best avenue to express myself as one of the instruments and as one of the voices who seek change and development in preserving our environment.
Here’s Kimverlyn Suiza’s Environmental Advocacy:
My environmental advocacy is to promote conversion of plastic materials into another substantial product that people can use, such as plastic chairs, plastic bricks and others because in the long run, this process can help prevent water crisis in our country like accessibility to clean water and floods, to name a few. I also believe that if the government and the private sector will work hand-in-hand to promote this project, not only does it save our environment but it can also become a source of income for the unemployed.
