Felix Verdejo of Puerto Rico easily defeated Steve Rodriguez in the first round of their match via TKO. The Puerto Rican Olympian Verdejo (5-0, 4 KO) floored Gutierrez as a result of a right hand first, then finished off with an uppercut, left hook, and right moments later.
