Eugene Domingo & Yuki Matsuzaki Stars in “Instant Mommy”

Filipino comedy actress Eugene Domingo will star in an Indie film opposite Japanese actor Yuki Matsuzaki in one of the Cinemalaya entry titled “Instant Mommy.”

The announcement and confirmation was made by Matsuzaki himself through his official Facebook account.

 I’m happy to announce that I’ll be starring [in] a comedy feature film Instant Mommy directed by Leo Abaya. I’ll be playing the lover of the main character played by a well-known Filipino comedienne Eugene Domingo,”

The Japanese actor was best known for his inclusion in some of Hollywood’s top-grossing films such the “Letters from Iwo Jima” starring Clint Eastwood and the blockbuster movie “Pirates of the Carribean: On Strangers Tides”, featuring Hollywood star Johnny Deep.

According to the actor the shooting will start this coming May and he even joked that he needs to buy a Tagalog dictionary for his stay in the Philippines. The movie “Instant Mommy” is a comedy movie about a wardrobe mistress for TV commercials who fakes a pregnancy to hold on to her Japanese fiance.

The movie is the screenwriting and directorial debut of Leo Abaya, known for his works as production designer of the acclaimed films, “Jose Rizal” and “Moro Ami.”
