Controversial actress Ethel Booba finally broke her silence on her feud with Willie Revillame, the host of Wowowillie, the one who castigated her and fellow host Ate Gay on national TV over the results of a costume contest on Willie’s noontime show.
Ethel Booba was quoted as saying that “Hindi di ko siya (Willie) sinigawan.” When Ethel was asked who is lying, she or Willie, Ethel answered, “Siya (Willie). Witness ang mga staff at si Ate Gay. Alam nilang walang sigawan na nangyari,” Ethel Booba stated.
According to Ethel she recalled that Willie raised his voice after she told the host that Ate Gay felt hurt over the results of the costume contest.
Ethel was quoted “Noong sinabi ko kay Willie na nagtatampo si Ate Gay , sabi niya, ‘Anong problema?” Tumaas ang boses niya. Nagmura siya at sinabing, ‘Ang liit na bagay. Yan lang. Kung hindi ninyo gusto ang patakaran, lumayas kayo. Get out!” Ethel recalled the incident.
The diva, Ethel also denied the allegations that she confronted Willie in the dressing room over the matter. She also noted that Willie has been sour since, “Wowowillie’s” lost viewers to rival show, “It’s Showtime.”
Meanwhile Ethel Booba will be featured in the latest show of TV 5, “Boracay Bodies” as “The Diva” which will premiere on April 6, at around 9:00 PM. She will join with Brent Javier, Victor Silayan, Luke Jickain, Krista Miller, Joross Gamboa, Wendy Valdez and Helga Kranf. It will be hosted by Phoemela Baranda.
