The country’s former President Joseph “Erap” Estrada made his first strike against his rival, the incumbent Mayor of Manila, Mayor Fred Lim during Erap’s proclamation rally on Sunday, March 31, 2013.
The proclamation rally were graced by some of the Philippines most recognized celebrities together with the participation of the opposition senatorial candidates of the United Nationalist Alliance.
The two sons of Erap Estrada, Sen. Jinggoy Estrada and UNA candidate JV Ejercito were present to endorse their father’s candidacy. The second-highest official in the Philippines, Vice President Jejomar Binay was also present to endorse the Estrada-Moreno tandem.
During the proclamation rally, the Estrada-Moreno tandem laid down their plans for Manila, among them are peace and order, better business opportunities, stronger industries and more jobs.
