The Professional Regulations Commissions and the Board of Medical Technology will probably release the results of the March 2013 Medical Technologist (MedTech) board exam after 3 working days since the last day of examination.

The MedTech Exam was held on March 19 and 20 at the Cities of Manila, Baguio, Cebu and Legazpi City in Albay. The examination was conducted by the members of the Board of Medical Technology headed by Chairman Dr. Marietta C. Baccay, and Ms. Marilyn R. Atienza & Ms. Marian M. Tantingco as members.
The MedTech exam takers took subjects for clinical chemistry, microbiology and parasitology, clinical microscopy, hematology, blood banking and serology, hispathologic techniques, medical technology laws and related laws during the MedTech board exam.
The calculations of the possible release of the MedTech results is base upon the usual release on the same examination last year. Last March 2012, there are 533 p(–foul word(s) removed–)ers out of 804 takers p(–foul word(s) removed–)ed the Medical Technologist board.
During last year’s examination, the PRC allowed those who failed to p(–foul word(s) removed–) the board examination for Medical Technology but had obtained a general rating of at least 70% to register as Medical Laboratory Technician.
