Holy Week 2013 Banking Hours & Schedules Released

Major banks in the Philippines have already issued an advisory for the their banking hours schedules nationwide as the Filipino people will be celebrating the Lente Season or the Holy Week 2013.

Although major banks nationwide will be closed for both Maundy Thursday and Good Friday, they have also (–foul word(s) removed–)ured that their ATMs can handle the expected surge in the amount of withdrawals for the entire Holy Week.

According to BPI, their ATM teams were on call to respond to the cash needs of their customers during the holiday.

In an advisory, Bank of the Philippine Islands said that while branches will be closed from Maundy Thursday (March 28) until Easter Sunday (March 31), its ATMs are fully prepared to service clients.

BPI added it has ATM teams on call to respond to cash needs of customers during the holiday while BDO also stressed that their ATMs are ready to handle the foreseen increase in withdrawal transactions.

Meanwhile here’s the banking hours of different major banks in the Philippines:

BDO Unibank branches – closed from March 28-31, 2013 including the Mall branches.

MetroBank & PS Bank branches – closed starting from Maundy Thursday. Resumes operations on April 1, 2013.

BPI & BPI Family Bank – closed for Holy Week. Branches will open on Easter Sunday.
