Topnotch Senators and current senatorial bet Loren Legarda admitted on Friday that she had a crush with one of the opposition senatorial bet Gringo Honasan of the United Nationalist Alliance (UNA).
The confirmation of Senator Legarda’s crush on Sen. Honasan was made during an interview with radio dzMM’s “SRO” hosted by Alvin Elchico and Atty. Katrina Legarda.
The 52-year-old Senator Legarda admitted that she once adored Honasan when was a rebel soldier leader. Sen. Legarda was quoted as saying that “Crush ko ‘yan dati eh, nung siya’y rebelde…Nung siya’y rebel leader, lahat pati mga media editors, lahat may crush kay Gringo Honasan.” Legarda stated.
The current Senatorial bet Gringo Honasan was one of the most popular rebel leader in the country particularly the Reform the Armed Forces Movement (RAM). The group helped bring down the Marcos dictatorship via the EDSA people power in February 1986.
The controversial rebel leader was also involved in several coup attempts during Cory Aquino administration but he later signed a peace agreement with the Ramos administration.
The Senatorial bet Loren Legarda was also surprised upon learning the his former crush, Gringo Honasan is already 65-years-old.
