After the successful comeback teleserye of Andi Eigenmann titled “Kahit Puso’y Masugatan,” she is set to conquered the primetime series of the Kapamilya Channel.
Andi Eigenmann confirmed during the 29th PMPC Star Awards held at the AFP Theater in Quezon City last weekend that she will be starring in a new teleserye titled “Galema.”
The former Agua Bendita star will be making an ABS-CBN TV series remake of the popular Rod Santiago’s classic “Komiks” character. She will give life to another classics, Galema, the daughter of Zuma.
It is known for having a two-headed snake wrapped around her shoulders. The “Anak ni Zuma” was originally penned by Jim Fernandez and was serialized by Aliwan Komiks from 1976 to 1984.
After the success of it’s comics version which became one of the longest running series in Philippine komiks, a movie version was made in 1985, featuring Snooky Serna playing the role of Galema and Max Laurel as the evil Zuma.
The teleserye “Galema” will start filming this coming April 2013, with the direction of box office director, Wenn V. Deramas.
