Although the Thunder have won the game with the final score at 108-104 but the incident got a negative response not only from the fans but also from the players. The NBA’s decision of only giving a flagrant foul and not suspending Ibaka put some doubts in the NBA’s officiating policy.

The NBA fined Serge Ibaka with a total of $25,000. He will still play for the next game although the foul was upgraded to flagrant foul 2 from flagrant foul 1, still it is not enough for his unsportsmanlike conduct, based upon basketball expert’s pronouncement.
