The last Filipino-American who tried to impressed the judges for the last seat in the Top 20 American Idol is no other than Bryant Tadeo from Hawaii. Before performing the song “New York State of Mind,” he talked about his Hawaiian heritage.

Keith Urban: Bryant made a connection with the song.
Nicki: Loved the last note of the song…and nothing else.
Randy: I like the beginning, but he kept waiting for it to go somewhere, and it just never did.
Mariah: What people responded to in his performance was the professional sound of his voice. Bryant got lost in places.
