The Filipino-American Idol hopeful Adriana Latonio survived a grueling Las Vegas Round in the semi-finals of the American Idol Season 12.
On Wednesday night (Thursday morning in Manila), Latonio made an impressive performance on her rendition of Aretha Franklin’s “Ain’t No Way,” for her solo performance.
The 17-year-old Alaskan teen-ager was so glad after the commendations made by the judges on her performance giving her own rendition of one of the most difficult songs ever composed by an artist.
Adriana Latonio will moved on to the next round with fellow Idol hopefuls, Teena Torres, Kree Harrison, Angela Miller and Amber Colcomb. She will advance to the “Sing For Your Votes” round of the competition.
All of the performances by the top 10 girls will be shown on Friday in Manila.
