American Idol Season 11 finalist Jessica Sanchez performed flawlessly during her Valentines Day concert held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. Jessica made some signature power ballad covers of different song.
The 17-year-old Filipino-Mexican singer who was part of the American Idol Finalist concert last September 2012, made her first-ever solo concert performance with the suppoort of Idol finalist Colton Dixon who placed 7th during the American Idol 11.
The concert was opened at exactly 8:30 PM with Colton Dixon’s original song, “Rise” and he also performed other hits from his debu album, “The Messenger.” The 21-year-old Tennessee native Colton, also performed some covers from his favorite artists, including “Meant to Live” by Switchfoot and “Everything” by Lifehouse.
One of the most interesting and stunning part of Jessica Sanchez’ performance was her perfect rendition of the Tagalog cl(–foul word(s) removed–)ic, “Ikaw” which received a standing ovation from thousands of live audience.
