Bamboo: Judge/Coach of “The Voice Philippines”

One of the Philippines most popular rockstar, Bamboo Mañalac and one of the frontman of Rivermaya during the early 90’s will be joining the country’s hottest and highly-anticipated singing competition, “The Voice Philippines.”

Bamboo will use the monicker “The Voice of Rock” for the upcoming show. He will be featured as judge and coach of The Voice together with the previously named Judge/Mentor, Sarah Geronimo.

The two Filipino artists will sit in the Red Chairs and mentor the contestants. Although there’s no final confirmation yet from ABS-CBN with Bamboo’s inclusion in the show, the rock star have already hinted during his appearance with Sarah G Live last Sunday.

According to the former lead singer of Rivermaya and rock band Bamboo, he will be having a huge project with the Popstar Princess Sarah Geronimo.

The two other judges for “The Voice Philippines” are set to be announced this month and there are rumors spreading that the one was an international star who will join Sarah and Bamboo at the coaching table.

The Voice Philippines will be hosted by Toni Gonzaga and Robi Domingo, the show will premier mid 2013.
