The Philippine government agency for social welfare, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) announced that they will launch a nationwide campaign starting March 201, that aims to protect the conditional cash transfer from being used by politician.
The agency stated that the national program Pantawid Pamilya Pilipino Program (4Ps) will be protected from politician, they dubbed the program “Bawal ang Epal Dito,” campaign.
The term “Epal” is short for “mapapel” or people desperately trying to do everything just to be recognized.
