Maricel Soriano was one of the actress who was supposed to be part of the upcoming Kapamilya series, titled “Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin,” but she was booted out of the teleserye.
The confirmation was made through an official statement made by ABS-CBN Head of Corporate Communications Bong Osario.
He was quoted as saying that “Due to the unfortunate incident between Gerald Anderson and Maricel Soriano that transpired on the first taping day of ‘Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin,’ the ABS-CBN management and the management of Maricel Soriano have agreed that Maricel will no longer be part of the cast,” he said.
Although Maricel Soriano will not be a part of the teleserye, Osorio, stressed that the series starring Anderson will still proceed as scheduled.
According to some rumors there’s a problem that arose during Gerald Anderson’s casting with Maricel Soriano. Entertainment site PEP have reported that Anderson was having a hard time with his line and this allegedly irritated Soriano, causing her to shout at the actor before walking out of the set.
The Gerald Anderson starrer will also feature Cristine Reyes, Rayver Cruz and Diana Zubiri.
