Former Kapuso talent Paulo Avelino shared his main reasons why he moved to rival station Kapamilya Channel during an interview with Showbiz Inside Report.
The half-Waray and half-Igorot joined showbiz last 2006 in a reality talent search. He was able to land a semi-finals berth and eventually landed various TV roles.
The 24-year-old Paulo Avelino admitted that he just came out from his comfort zone when the opportunity came in during his transfer to ABS-CBN wherein he was able to re-invent himself.
Avelino made some changes on his acting style and within a year of transfer to the Kapamilya network in August 2011, he landed guest and supporting roles in ABS-CBN’s Primetime Bida offerings.
Paulo was able to won his first Best Actor trophy from Gawad Urian on his portrayal with the independent film “Ang Sayaw ng Dalawang Kaliwang Paa.” After his successful stint with top-rating primetime show Walang Hanggan, he is set to star in another ABS-CBN series titled “Kahit Konting Pagtingin.”
