ABS-CBN reported that a number of policemen were caught on camera taking home confiscated illegal firecrackers after a media presentation at the Camp Karingal on Saturday, December 29, 2012.
According to Senior Superintendent Florendo Quibuyen, division chief of the Regional Investigation and Detection Management Division of the PNP stated that the cops took “pla-pla,” “piccolo” and “Bin Laden” among illegal fireworks.
The NCRPO stated that administrative charges of grave misconduct and neglect of duty will be filed against them on Wednesday. The PNP authorities are still trying to identify 5 other police officers who were also caught on camera during the incident.
