The most powerful leader of the Catholic faith, Pope Benedict XVI is set to deliver his Christmas Day Blessings. The traditional blessing will be watched by millions of Christians around the world.
The Pope is expected to appeal for peace in war-torn Syria. He will pronounce his “Urbi et Orbi” (To the City and the World) message from the balcony of St. Peter’s Basilica at around 1100 GMT.
