Miss Universe Philippines, Janine Tugonon made it to the final 2 of the 2o12 Miss Universe and was crowned as the second runner-up of the competition. Miss Olivia Culpo of the USA was crowned as the Miss Universe 2012 winner.
Crowd favorites Miss Venuzuela was declared as the 2nd runner-up. Miss Australia was 3rd and Miss Brazil was the 4th runner-up
