The super typhoon Pablo with an international name Bopha maintained its strength according to the latest weather bulletin issued by PAG-ASA on Monday, December 3, 2012.
At around 9:00 A.M. today, the typhoon was spotted at 550 kilometers Southeast of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur with maximum sustained winds of 175 kph and gustiness of up to 210 kph. It is now moving on West Northwest at 24 kph.
The DepEd and other government agencies were calling the attentions of concerned individuals to used the Twitter hashtags #PabloPh for unified updates.
