The final game of the group stage featuring Myanmar and the Philippines ended the first half with both team tied at all nil. The Philippines have their own chances when Phil Younghusband was able to took shoot on target but failed to score a goal for the Azkals.
The Myanmar side was so dangerous during the first half especially with their fast-pace counter-attacks that threatened the Philippines’ defense.
Meanwhile on the other game between host team Thailand and Vietnam, the Thais have already scored one goal through the effort of Kirati who scored from close range after a good cross from Apipoo.
The Philippines needs to win against Myanmar to secure a spot to the semi-finals of the AFF Suzuki Cup 2012.
