The Philippines currently ranked number 3 in the over-all tally of medals for the 2012 Miss Earth Beauty Pageant held in the Philippines. There are at least 13 countries who have already won medals in the 7 challenges in the ongoing pageant participated by at least 80 candidates.
Miss Philippines candidate Stephany Stephanowitz won the gold medal in the “Darling of the Press” award while Miss Thailand and Miss USA took the silver and bronze respectively. The Miss Earth 2012 is currently on-going.
