The Bacolod edition of the Google Developer Group started at around 10:o0 A.M. after the registration. The Google Keynote speaker was Aileen Apolo-de Jesus, the Outreach Program Leader in Southeast Asia.
Aileen develops and implemented programs to help grow the internet eco-system which includes gDays and community development. The keynote speaker of GDG DevFest Bacolod worked formerly as a country consultant for the Philippines of Google for 5 years. Aileen holds an MBA from De La Salle University and degrees in AB-Political Science and BS Legal Management from the same university.
The GDG Bacolod DevFest is currenlty on-going at the Ballroom of the Bacolod Sugarland Hotel in Bacolod City. The event is attended with more than hundreds of developers, members of the academe from different universities together with business and marketing executives from the City of Bacolod and nearby communities.
