The newest cable channel from ABS-CBN, the Jeepney TV was launched on ASAP 2012 on Sunday, November 4, 2012. The launching ceremony was led by Mr. Pure Energy Gary V., the singer of the Kapamilya’s station ID.
The Jeepney TV will showcase the replays of well-loved Kapamilya teleseryes, sitcoms and TV specials such as “Home Along Da Riles,” “Ang TV,” “Gimik,” and “Pangako Sa ‘Yo.”
The song popularized by Gary Valenciano during the ’80’s hit titled “Eto Na Naman” , will serve as the channel’s theme song.
The Jeepney TV will air 24 hours a day via SkyCable Channel 69.
