Azkals vs. Singapore: Lions Wanted to Avenge 2-0 Loss

The Philippine Azkals were able to successfully demolished the Singapore Lions during their first encounter in an international friendly last September with the final score at 2-0.

The Lions promised to score a win and want a revenge against the vastly improved Philippine Azkals which was bannered mostly by Filipino international based footballers who were playing for the Azkals.

The Philippine Azkals vs. Singapore Lions international FIFA-Friendly match will be held this coming November 15, 2012 in Cebu City. The match is the final preparations of the Philippines for the Azkals journey to the AFF Suzuki Cup.

The Singapore Lions on their part will go up against Pakistan this coming November 27 as their final preparations before going to the AFF Suzuki Cup where the Philippines will compete also.

The Singapore National Football Team, was grouped with Malaysia, Indonesia and Laos in Group B. The Philippines on the other hand was part of the group of death in Group A, which was composed of Asean highest-ranked Thailand and Vietnam, Philippines and Myanmar.
