Top 20 Schools Fake Lists According to PRC and CHED

The lists of the Top 20 schools in the Philippines for the year 2012 which was first posted via the Facebook page of the  UPLB Institute of Human Nutrition and Food’s Photos which was also posted here earlier in a news report is a fake list as confirmed by PRC.

The lists have gone viral already on social networking site Facebook but the Professional Regulations Commission admitted that they did not release or conducted any lists of Top Schools in the Philippines.

According to PRC’s Public Information and Media Relations Department, Norman de Guzman who made clear that the agency has not released a list, which is “based on the average p(–foul word(s) removed–)ing in the board examinations of all courses of all universities and colleges in the Philippines.”

The officer adds further that they will only release an important information through their official website the www.prc.gov.ph. The PRC have no Twitter or Facebook account according to de Guzman.

The list which is already gone viral in the internet is indeed fake according to the officer. He stated that the PRC will only release a result based on regulated professions and will not release a general lists for all professions.

The PRC also warned the public especially the netizens who were always sharing the information on different social media sites to check first the PRC’s website before sharing any important information.
