Kevin Alas Led the Knights with 43 Points. Victory Over Stags

Kevin Alas made a tremendous performance against the San Sebastian Stags as he led his team with a career-high 43 points on their do-or-die victory.

The Knights most popular player Alas made an astonishing 10 three-pointers to lead all scorers and put his name in the record books not only in the NCAA but in any basketball tournament.

His team the Letran Knights forced a Game 3 for the Finals berth. The Knights defeated the San Sebastian Stags with the final score at 92-74.

The 43-point output of Kevin Alas was the highest output made by NCAA player since the day John Wilson scored a total of 48 points for the Jose Rizal University in August 2009.

The Letran Knights dominated the game as they entered the second half with a comfortable lead at 46-28 after they hold on star forward Calvin Abueva who scored only with 4 points after two quarters.

The third game between the San Sebastian Stags and the Letran Knights will be held at the Makati Coliseum this coming Monday.
