Two Def Jam artists namely Rick Ross and Young Jezzy were involved in an alleged brawl during Saturday’s BET Hip-Hop Awards. The incident happened during the taping of the show in Atlanta.
The video that was posted on YouTube by celebrity news site, TMZ showed the chaos at the backstage with security guards stepping in to break up the fight.
The video showed Ross who was shirtless and yelled towards Young Jessy while he was escorted away by some security officers who intervened the brawl.
The two hip-hop artists were once collaborators, but they have been involved in several feuds for the past few years. The incident last Saturday was the latest confrontation involving both artists.
There were even reports that the feud and fight were moved on to the parking lot with the sound of gunshots and police arrested a gunman after the incident.
One of the artist Machine Gun Kelly confirmed the brawl by posting on his official Twitter account that he was injured in the fracas. He tweeted “Got mase in my eyes. That beef (–foul word(s) removed–) just got real outside.” Machine Gun Kelly.
