The Philippine National Football Team have prepared so much for the competition, the Philippine Football Peace, and on their first match-up they will face Guam, the national team they defeated easily during the June 12 match in Bacolod City.
Some of the prominent members of the Azkals will not be part of the team. James and Phil Younghusband were the latest set of players that were not included in the line-up after the management decided to left the Azkals for some reasons.
The Azkals will be playing also without Filipino-British goalkeeper Neil Etheridge, Fil-German Midfielder Stephan Schrock and Fil-Spanish Guirado brothers.
Meanwhile during the first match of the Philippine Peace Cup, the match between Chinese Taipei and Macau ended with a 2-2 draw.
