Azkals vs. Guam Preview: Philippine Peace Cup 2012

The first day of the Philippine Peace Cup 2012 will be held tomorrow at the Rizal Memorial Stadium and Football Field in Metro Manila. The game will showcase four teams from different parts of Asia such as Chinese Taipei, Guam, Macau and the Philippines.

The game between the Philippines and the visiting team Guam National Football Team will start at around 7:30 PM (PST). The Philippine Azkals will be playing without star players Phil and James Younghusband who were not included in the final line-up.

The Philippine Azkals have previously defeated Guam with their last friendly match held in Bacolod City last June 12. They held guam in a 3-nil scorecards.

The Azkals is the highest-ranked team in the competition with current ranking at 150th spot while Guam is currently ranked at the 185th spot but the rankings is not important, the Azkals will try to maintain its ranking and secured their position as one of the top teams in Asia.
