Gangnam Style captured the music scene not only in South Korea but also in the Philippines where the song got even more popular and the Filipinos have their own version of the song featuring Eric “Eruption” Tai of Showtime.
The Gangnam Style dance craze was first popularized in South Korea and was originally performed by famous Korean rapper Psy.
The song’s rhythm captured the hearts and smiles of the Filipinos and copied the song on their own way, producing one of the most viral spoof of the Gangnam Style Pinoy version.
The video have gone viral already since it was first posted on September 13, it already garnered more than 300, 000 views. video also featured some of the most popular celebrities from ABS-CBN.
The Pinoy Gangnam Style video was first started by Eric “Eruption” Tai, of the host in the Kapamilya Channel’s afternoon variety show It’s Showtime.
Some of the celebrities making a cameo appearance in the video were Anne Curtis, Randy Santiago, Slater Young, Coleen Garcia, and Ryan Bang to name a few.
