A good news not only for the developer community in the Philippines but also for the rest of the Filipinos as four of the semi-finalists in the on-going Google App Developer Challenge have made their mark in the competition. CollabSpot Notetaker, Events KIT, tsksticker and CleverNote made it to the semi-finals.
The competition which was attended and represented by different countries in the world gathered some of the world’s brightest minds in the computer industry.
The Google Apps Developer Challenge 2012 was created fro every developer to showcase their talents and skills that involves Google Apps and Google Drive API.
Participants were required to build a remarkable app and submit it to Google, the world’s most popular search engines. There are three categories of the competition: Enterprise/ Business Solutions; Social/ Personal Productivity/ Games/ Fun; and Not For Profit: Education/ Water/ Food & Hunger/ Health.
The competition was represented well by several developers from the six regions of the world including India, Latin America, Middle East and North Africa, South East Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa and United States and Europe.
Here’s the Filipino Semi-finalists of the Google Apps Developer Challenge 2012:
- CollabSpot Notetaker (Enterprise/Business Solutions Google App Category) This Google app allows you to collaboratively create tasks and document links while you’re on for a Google+ hangout session.
- Events KIT (Social/ Personal Productivity/ Games/ Fun Google App Category) A Google app to manage your events, meetings or usual meet-ups in a more organized manner.
- tsksticker (Social/ Personal Productivity/ Games/ Fun Google App Category) allows you to unleash your creative solutions such as art, comic strips or animations using the drag and drop stickers options.
- CleverNote (Social/ Personal Productivity/ Games/ Fun Google App Category) is a clever way for you to take notes in your Google Drive.
